The story

Late last year (2025), Champion Air Conditioning & Heating partnered with CI Web Group to completely redesign and rebuild the company's website. For David Farah and the leadership team, it wasn't simply a website project — it was the final piece of a five-year journey that began when their family acquired Champion Air in 2020.

When they acquired the company, they inherited a business with an outstanding reputation and more than four decades of history serving homeowners throughout the Phoenix Valley. Since then, the leadership team invested heavily in virtually every aspect of the organization — modernizing operations, expanding training, improving the customer experience, investing in technology, strengthening the service department, enhancing installation standards, and focusing relentlessly on becoming one of the most respected residential HVAC companies in Arizona.

Those efforts produced meaningful results. Today, Champion Air is one of the few remaining large, family-owned (non-private equity) residential HVAC companies in the Phoenix Valley. They were recently honored with the Dave Lennox Award, recognizing them as one of the Top 20 Lennox dealers in North America. More importantly, they built a company that employees, customers, and the community are genuinely proud of.

Ironically, the one area that no longer represented who they had become was the website. The previous site had fallen behind — speed and coding issues that hurt Google rankings, and a site that functioned primarily as a lead-capture tool once someone happened to find it. It failed to communicate the depth of their technical knowledge, the breadth of their services, the education they provide homeowners, or the family-first culture that has defined Champion Air for decades.

In today's world — especially in the Phoenix Valley, arguably the most competitive residential HVAC market in the United States — that simply isn't enough. Building visibility online takes tremendous effort, but maintaining it requires constant innovation. Search is evolving faster than ever, and artificial intelligence is fundamentally changing how consumers discover businesses and make decisions.

The experience

Champion Air's leadership team also has a genuine passion for information technology, artificial intelligence, digital marketing, content strategy, and graphic design. Because of that, they entered the search for a web partner with extremely high expectations. They weren't looking for someone to create a beautiful homepage. They wanted someone who understood where search was heading — not where it had been.

That's what led them to CI Web Group.

A few months into the project, Jennifer Bagley asked them to trust a vision that, admittedly, felt ambitious at the time.
