Legal Disclosures
Effective date: July 7, 2026 · Version 1.0
1. Affiliate disclosure (FTC 16 CFR Part 255)
Some links on this Site — particularly the AI-tool recommendations at /ai-tools — are affiliate or referral links. If you follow one of these links and eventually purchase a product, sign up for a service, or complete a trial, we may receive a small commission or referral credit at no additional cost to you.
Two commitments about how we handle affiliate relationships:
- Recommendations reflect tools Jennifer actually uses inside CI Web Group. A referral relationship is not what qualifies a tool for the list — being useful is what qualifies it. If a tool stops earning its place, it comes off the list even if we lose the referral.
- A referral relationship never changes what we say about a tool. Every review, comparison, and blurb is written before any affiliate relationship is opened, and updated based on real usage.
Affiliate + referral outbound links are marked rel="sponsored" in the HTML per
Google's link-attribute guidance.
2. Editorial policy
The Site is authored by Jennifer L. Bagley and produced with CI Web Group's editorial team. We follow these rules to keep the content trustworthy:
- Verbatim quotes only. Every quote attributed to a client, industry host, journalist, or awards committee is verbatim — reproduced exactly as it was said, said in an on-the-record interview, or published in a source we link to. No paraphrases pretending to be quotes; no "composite" quotes.
- Real names, real organizations. Client-story attributions on /success-stories and inside the book use the operator's real name, real company, and a real event or contract.
Placeholder /
_pendingrecords are hard-filtered from render; nothing publishes until the source is real. - Corrections + updates. If we get something wrong, we fix it and note the correction at the bottom of the affected page. Substantive updates to the book are versioned and dated (see the book landing).
- Sponsored content is labeled. Where a sponsor supports a specific podcast episode, keynote sponsorship, or content series, we say so on the surface that shows the content. Sponsors never edit editorial content.
- AI-generated content is disclosed where it exists. The book, keynote descriptions, and press summaries are human-written. Where we use AI as a drafting or summarization assistant, the human author retains editorial responsibility for the final published text. We do not publish AI-generated text under Jennifer's byline without her review.
3. Testimonials + client-story usage rights
Testimonials, client quotes, industry-leader endorsements, and press features shown on the Site are used with the sourced party's permission — either through a direct written or recorded release (client stories), or via publicly published material we link to (press features, on-the-record podcast quotes, awards program citations). When you contribute a testimonial to Jennifer's site — for example, as part of a CI Web Group engagement — the intake language you sign or accept grants us the right to:
- use your quote, name, title, and company on jenniferbagley.com, in Hands Up, in keynote presentations, and on marketing collateral;
- edit for length and clarity only — never in a way that changes meaning; and
- link to your company's website unless you tell us in writing not to.
If you're a featured contributor and want your quote removed or updated at any time, email [email protected] and we will process the request within 10 business days.
4. Business results disclaimer
Where the Site or the book Hands Up references specific business outcomes — revenue growth, marketing spend reduction, lead volume, net profit percentages, conversion rates, market share, or other quantitative results — those outcomes belong to the specific business, at the specific time, under the specific conditions in which they occurred. They are not a representation, warranty, or projection of the results you or your business will achieve.
Individual results depend on many factors we do not control, including (without limitation) your existing systems and team, your market and geography, your execution discipline and follow-through, your investment and time horizon, market conditions, and applicable laws. Nothing on the Site should be interpreted as an earnings claim, guaranteed ROI, income projection, or promise of any particular result.
Nothing on the Site is legal, tax, financial, medical, or other professional advice. Consult qualified professionals for advice specific to your circumstances.
Predictions and forward-looking statements. The Site — including the Systems & Soul essays and the Prediction Ledger — contains predictions, forecasts, and other forward-looking statements. These reflect Jennifer Bagley's professional opinions and expectations as of the date they were made, are published deliberately so they can be reviewed and graded in public, and are not guarantees of future events, market conditions, or outcomes. Do not make investment, employment, or business decisions in reliance on any prediction published here.
Comparative and performance statements. Statements comparing CI Web Group's speed, efficiency, or performance to other companies or to industry practice — and figures describing CI Web Group's own business (for example, headcount, revenue, or revenue per person) — describe Jennifer Bagley's own company, experience, and professional opinion. They are not independently audited benchmarks and are not a representation of results any other business will achieve.
